THE TEACHING INNOVATION OF PROFESSIONALLY BASAL COURSE AND THE DESIGNS OF PUBLIC COURSE OF ASTRONOMY

Sun Yanchun (Department of Astronomy, Beijing Normal University,100875,Beijing, China)  
“Guide to Astronomy” is a general and professionally basal key course for lower undergraduate students in the department of astronomy of Beijing Normal University, and the innovation has been made in teaching contents and methods in the recent years. Some important aspects and improvements of them are introduced. In addition, the present problems of public “General Astronomy” for all undergraduates and some attempts to the selections of teaching contents and the application of teaching methods are discussed.
