Accumulation dynamic of chlorogenic acid in Eupatorium adenophorum Spreng was investigated.Chlorogenic acid content in Eupatorium adenophorum Spreng,as determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),was higher in leaves than in flowers or stems,was decreased at altitude higher than 1900 meters,was higher when harvested in April than in July.Therefore chlorogenic acid content in Eupatorium adenophorum Spreng is related to growing area,altitudes,harvesting time and plant parts.
