Experimental study on microbial desulfurization of coal

The removal of sulfur in coal may decrease environmental pollution.And microbial desulfurization of coal is very prosperous. The microbial desulfurization of Wuda Que er gou's coal was carried out in acid mine water,soil water,city sewage and factory outlet water of inner Mongolia by means of air agitations(blastiny and oscillating).After cultiviating bacteria for two days and desulfurization for 15 days,all but city sewage were observed to remove sulfur in coal to some extent. The desulfurization rate ranges from 26.95% to 38.77%. Furthermore,the desulfurization efficiency of pH at about 2 is almost identical with that of pH at about 7.
