Study on the Technique for Purifying Vermiculite Ores

GONG Xiao-wu,MAO Yan-sheng,ZHOU Na (School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Shihezi University,Shihezi,Xinjiang 832000,China)  
The technique for purifying Xinjiang vermiculite ores is dicussed in this paper.Using sodium hexametaphosphate as dispersant,the experients show that the vermiculite yields reach to the highest value at the optimum technologic conditions:vermiculite 100 grams,solid-liquid ratio 15%,stirring time 2 hours,and dispesarnt 0.2%.
