Liu Suying,Guan Mingjie,Yang Wenjie (The teaching and research section of the child and adolescent,Baotou Medical College,Baotou,014010,China)
Objective:To observe the effect of the brick tea on the weight and the fat in blood. Methods:After the brick tea had been perfused (2%~2.5%,2ml/100g)into the stomach of the rats regularly for five weeks, the rats were weighed once every other day,and observed the changes in the weight. Then we can get blood by cutting the tails to determine the contents of TC and TG in serum. Results:Three or five weeks later,in the fat-fed group and brick tea group, the TC contents were respectively (185.62±100.10)mg/dl?(190.92±99.15)mg/dl and (185.59±88.49)mg/dl?(238.13±125.89)mg/dl.But in the control group, the TC contents were (71.88±14.17)mg/dl,(82.23±34.10)mg/dl,whick are lower than those in the former groups(P0.05).There was no significant difference in the content of TC between the high fat-fed group and the tea-fed group(P0.05).The weight in tea-fed group was lower than that in the high fat-fed group(P 0.05 ).Conclusions:Drinking tea (2%~2.5%) has no effect on decreasing the fat in blood ,but it can refrain the weight from putting on.
