Hematoglobin Protein Polymorphism in Distant Hybridization Progeny of Yak and Their Parents

CHANG Qi , WEI Ya-ping(Qinghai Academy of Animal Science and Veterinary, Xining, Qinghai 810003, China)
Hematoglobin protein polymorphisms in Yak, Holstein, F1, F2 individuals of Yak and yel-low cattle were investigated with polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It was found that Holsteins in Qing-hai showed Hb polymorphism, Qinghai Yak showed homomorphism, F1 individuals showed Hb polymor-phism and some new special type compared to their parents. Electrophoresis type of F2 individuals, which became more complex with more grading generations, was more complex and had four types, it is neces-sary to illustrate them on more next works.
