Research into the Numerical Simulation of Wind Velocity Histories

Along with engineering structures becoming larger and more complex,buildings get more sensitive to wind load,which usually plays the primary and even the crucial role.Time domain analysis is regard as one of the better methods to research the wind induced dynamic response.Samples of wind velocity histories are necessary when time domain analysis is conducted,so reproducing samples of wind velocity histories by computer numerical simulation utilizing known frequency domain information is a good method for solving the problem.In the paper,the harmony superposition method is used to simulate the samples of wind velocity histories,and has been proved to be availability by an example.In addition,some parameters are discussed and their rational values are recommended..
