Recent Advances in Research of Pericarp Browning of Litchi

The advances in the studies on the mechanisms of litchi pericarp browning were reviewed. The factors involved include enzymatic browning, water loss, anthocyanin degradation, pathogen infection, increase in respiration rate and ethylene production.
