The Effects of Perharvest Calcium Treatment on Quality and Physiology of Moonlight Plum Fruit

Using the moonlight plum as the test material,sprinkle the Ca (NO3)2 with 3 different concentrations 30 days before harvest. The results showed that,the quality of plum fruit is better after treatment. Ca2+ can inhibit the PG and POD activity,reduce MDA content. It has the best effect when concentration of 1.5%. The fruit decay rate is 23.49% lower than comparison after Ca2+treatment,and the browning rate is 30.26% lower.
