Study on Plastic Box Modified Atmosphere Storage of Blueberry

Changes of air components and storage quality of blueberry in different plastic MA boxes were studied in this paper.The results showed that treatments of MA nozzle A,MA nozzle B,MA nozzle B + preservative,MA nozzle C had analogical trend that the content of CO2 went up and the content of O2 declined gradually,and the content of CO2 of all treatments increased rapidly at 22 days at 0 ℃ storage.The results of investigation indicated that MA boxes could control the emergence of fruit decay effectively,and fruit in MA box with nozzle B had higher content of total soluble solids,the lowest rates of soft fruit and decay after 75 days at 0 ℃ storage and good fruits rate was 91.23%.CO2 10%~ 12% and O2 6%~9% were the better gas components for blueberry in plastic box modified atmosphere storage and it could prolong the storage time for 30~40 days compared with ordinary storage methods.
