5 Cases Treated with Angongniuhuang Tablets

Xiong Manqi Peng Fangzhong (Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou College of TCM, Guangzhou)
The article reports that 5 cases of complicated symptoms—dementia, paralysis, flaccidity difficulty of movement of the tongue or limbs—were treated with Angongniuhuang tablets. The results were satisfactory. The author believes that patients with acute fever as well as chronic diseases may take the tablets so long as the pathogenesis belongs to the type in which phlegm obstructs thechannels, choking the medulla channel. If the differentiation of symptoms and signs is correct, there will be no side—effect even in long—term application. This provides a base for expanding the clinical application range of Angongniuhuan tablets.
