Clinical Research on Menopausal Syndrome Treated with Chief Method of Tonifying the Kidney

The artical analyses the distribution of symptom types of 228 cases of menopausal syndrome, with the result of pbvious higher level of Yin deficiency, covering 75% of the total cases, and 25% of both Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency, and none of Yang deficiency. Also summerized hereby is the effect treated with chief method of toaifying the kidney. The 119 patients are randomly devided into treatment group (86 cases) and placebo comparison group (33 cases); by way of simple blind method observation, the result is displayed thus that treatment effect of the traditional medicine group is better that of the placebo comparison group (p0.01-0.005).
