Transient Model of Three Leg Core Transformer

KANG Ji tao, QIAN Qing quan (Inst. of railroad Electrification and Automation, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu 610031, China)  
Based on magnetic circuit of three leg core transformer, the transient model of the transformer is presented. The relations between the model parameters and the test values of the transformer are investigated. With the test values and the geometry parameters of the transformer, the transient model of the transformer can be constructed, which can be used for electromagnetic transient, steady and inrush current calculation.
