Virtual Instrumentation Solution to Integrated Measurement Platform for Power Transformers

The routine, type and special tests for power transformer are the key factor of its quality and characteristics. For a long period, the devices for transformer measurement are discrete customized instruments and always manipulated and recorded manually. According to the Virtual Instrumentation solution, a novel type of measuring instument—the integrated measurement platform for power transformer based on the ComponentWorks TM software, Visual Basic and some hardware module is developed. It will improve the accuracy and the efficiency of measurement.
