Experimental Study of Granite Constitutive Properties under Uniaxial Impact

Many granite constitutive curves under uniaxial impact loading were tested with split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) apparatus.The test results show that the granite constitutive curves have the following properties.They have leap character before peaks,but usually are similar to straight lines before the first extreme,linear slopes have no obvious correlation with the loading rate.They usually appear much more deviation after the maximum (peak) point,and can appear the character not only class Ⅰ,but also class Ⅱ.Sometimes impact stress strain curves of granite can also appear increasing and decreasing hardening.
