An experimental study on anti-penetration characteristics of concretes shielded with single layer of tightly arrayed corundum spheres

The concrete shielded with single layer of tightly arrayed corundum spheres is a new kind of materials. In order to investigate it's protection effects, the antipenetration charateristics of concretes shielded with single layer of tightly arrayed corundum spheres and the normal concretes have been experimentally studied and compared with each other.The comparison indicates that the antipenetration performance of this new material is much better than that of the normal concretes.
