The decline laws of the peak particle velocity at diffrernt parts of a linear charge are obtained by a series of model tests and digital modeling calculations.It is discovered that the peak particle velocity at the end decreases slowly with the angle α .The angle α is the angle of the axis with the linear charge. The longer the distance to the axis of a linear charge is ,the larger the end action range.When the length of a linear charge is shorter than 1.75 times of the burden,it does not character as a standard linear charge.A calculation formula for adding explosive weight at the ends of a linear charge is proposed on the basis of these decline laws in this paper.Adding explosive weight at the ends may improve the blasting effect.
