Study of Structure and Property of Cellulose Membranes Prepared by NMMO Method

With NmethylmorpholineNoxide(NMMO) as solvents, asymmetric cellulose membranes were prepared by using phaseinversion method. The morphological structures of cellulose membranes were observed with scanning electronic miscroscope. Several factors including pulp and DP of cellulose, concentration of casting solution, temperature of dissolution and coagulation bath, which influence the structure and property of membrane, were discussed.
