The Research on Static Properties of Honeycomb Paperboard

ZHANG Yuan, FU Cheng (Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing 100037, China)  
The basic equations of honeycomb paperboard was established and simulated by the finite element method of shell63 element; its static properties were calculated by ANYAS. The stress map and strain map of honeycomb paperboard subjected to even distribute loadings were obtained and its properties of stresses and strains were analyzed. The maximum stress and stain which is adverse to its cushion performance was in the center of board. It should be taken into account in application. The results have the reference value for the package design of honeycomb paperboard.
