Ink Jet Printing Quality Evaluation Based on MTF

A new measurement method was explained to separately measure the effect of ink spread and dot gain based on MTF.The MTF measured from one-pixel line printed on different type of paper were analyzed and compared.The results showed that the differences of paper types and dot gain significantly influenced the MTFs,which was approved by practical observation.The evaluation of factors influencing the dot gain in ink jet printing based on MTF was realized exactly.
