Occurrence and Injury of Batocera Horsfieldi on Poplar,Walnut and Ash and the Control Strategy

Batocera horsfieldi,a forestry pest,is an important stem-borer in China,and seriously attacked poplar,walnut and ash.The occurrence and injury on poplar,walnut and ash are summarized,and their control strategy is given.Suggestions are given that B.horsfieldi will be controled sustainably by releasing Dastarcus helophoroides,an natrual enemy of B.horsfieldi,in damaged forest.As the same time,quarantine,chemical control and physical control measures will be apllied.
