Relationship Study of Drought/Flood and Sunspot in Yellow River Delta

Based on the annual precipitation data of Yellow River Delta Binzhou station,this paper selects Z index method to analyze the fluctuation of drought and flood between 1922~2009,and also selects frequency method to analyze the characteristics of drought and flood near the sunspot extreme value,onedimension continuous Morlet wavelet analysis is conducted to analyze the changing cycle of Z index.The results show that flood and drought are likely to happen near m year and M year of sunspot respectively.Z index of Yellow River Delta area exits 3~7 a,8~12 a,13~24 a and 25~40 a periodic fluctuation.
