A Fractional Differential Equation Model for Drying Kinetics of Grain Materials

A fractional differential equation model to describe the drying process of grain materials is given firstly.The exact solution of the equation is given and the solution coincide with the well-known semi-empirical Page formula in drying kinetics.The unitedness of the Page model and Lewis model is proved.A new model for the drying process is given by a two-term fractional differential equation,which is a generalized of the classical Lewis model in drying kinetics.
