Sea keeping predictions of the fast container ship in the real wave state

Sea keeping is one of important qualities to scale the excellent and bad performances of ships. In this paper, the sea keeping prediction of a fast 3100TEU container ship has been predicted based on numerical simulations and ship observed wave data. And the long-term prediction of ship motion can also be predicted by using the wave data of the sea area that the ship navigates on. In order to describe the real sea condition actually, the direction sea spectrum is used in the computation for the choice of sea spectrum
