Optimization design of the gearbox mounting under vibration level difference constraints

The novel gearbox mounting is improved in design by the structural dynamic optimization method. Considered the vibration level difference performance requirements in designated frequency domain, the gearbox mounting size and the topology optimizing design model is set up with the mounting weight as the objective function. Through two kinds of structural optimizing solutions, the vibration level difference of low and middle frequency band of the new mounting can rise from 5dB to 12dB. The plate which affects largely on the vibration transmission, and a structure topology form with good vibration reducing effect, can be found.
