Flocculation and Filtration of Lincomycin Fermentation Broth

Flocculation and filtration techniques of lincomycin fermentation broth were studied. Experimental results showed that the dose of flocculant cationic polyacrylamide affected considerably the efficiency of flocculation and filtration of lincomycin fermentation broth. Superior operation conditions obtained from the tries were that the concentration of cationic polyacrylamide was 0.008%, flocculation temperature was 35 ℃, and flocculation pH value was 3 in the broth with appropriate agitation.
