The Influence of the Higher-Order Dispersion and Fifth-Order Nonlinear on the Bright-Soliton-Like Pulses in the Optical Fiber

In this paper,the evolution equations for the parameters of the optical soliton-like pulse in optical fibers is derived by means of variational method from the MNLS equation.Then,the restricted relations are Obtained between amplitude and width,width and chirp.Obtaining analytical solution about the width of pulse evolves on the propagation distance.By numerical calculation,the influence of higher-order dispersion and the fifth-order nonlinearity on the propagation properties of optical soliton-like pulses in optical fibers is discussed.
