Fully Nonlinear Wave Simulations

In this paper, MAC difference scheme is used for discretization of dynamics equations and VOF method is adopted for treatment of free surface.The object of numerical simulation points to the motion of standing waves in a rectangular fluid domain and the wave configurations varying with time.The comparison between the numerical results and linear solutions by potential theory shows that the method used in this paper is available to post the nonlinear features of free surface waves and can be used to study fully nonlinear waves.
