Calculation of hydrodynamic component of sonar self-noise by SEA method

YU Meng-sa, LI Dong-sheng (China Ship Scientific Research Center, Wuxi 214082, China)  
A model to calculate the hydrodynamic component of sonar self-noise is presented by SEA method, which may be used for the sonar dome located in the boardside of underwater vehicle. The influences of various characters of the dome and absorbent coating in the dome on the sonar self-noise are analyzed numerically.
