A three-dimensional moving and pulsating source(MAPS) method for calculating motions of trimaran hull forms

The motion response of trimaran in waves is one of important considerations in ship design.In this paper,a three-dimensional Moving and Pulsating Source(MAPS) method is presented with application to the parametric studies of influence of outrigger positions on ship motion performance in waves.Experimental correlation is also analyzed in order to check the accuracies of the method.
