Experimental research on trimaran rolling

As the trimaran's sidehull has complicated influence on fluid field all around and on seakeeping behavior of itself,the rationalistic calculation on trimaran rolling is hard to make.Therefore,it is advisable to apply the seakeeping model test(including free-attenuation test,sea trial both in regular wave and irregular wave)to investigate the influence of transverse position,bilge keel location and ship speed on trimaran rolling.The conclusion could be reference for designers.
