THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PETROLOGYOF THE LINGLONG-LUANJIAHE GRANITE INJIAODONG AND THE CONDITIONSOF ITS FORMATION

The Linglong-Luanjiahe granite is situated in the Jiaodong upwarped district of the Ludong shield. It belongs to the Proterozoic era. It is related with the regional metamorphism and is formed by the anatexis. The entire massif may be distinctively divided into two facies: the genissic biotite granite facies and the biotite granite facies.In the former.it consists of the microcline-perthite, oligoclase, quartz and biotite; the degree of order of the feldspars ranges from 0.30 to 1.00) the mean value is 0.95; the Fe/(Fe + Mg) of the biotite is 0.28; the K/Rb of the bulk rock ranges between 357.00 and 585.71. In the latter, it consists of the microcline, albite-oligoclase, biotite quartz and some muscovites; the degree of order of the feldspars ranges from 0.1 to 1.0; the mean value is 0.75; the Fe/(Fe + Mg) of the biotite is 0.32s the K/Rb of the bulk rock ranges between 175.24 and 415.56. The typical characteristics of the rock-forming min-nerals as well as the geochemical properties of trace elements show that, during the formation of the granite, the gneissic biotite granite facies has been subjected to lower temperature, higher oxygen fugacity and higher H2O fugacity than the biotite granite facies has. The gradation of the gnisssic biotite granite facies into the biotite granite facies represents the developmental trend of the rock.
