THE GEOCHEMICAL BACKGROUND OF GOLD IN TAIHUA GROUP AND THE SOURCES OF ORE-FORMING MATERIALS OF GOLD DEPOSITS IN XIAOQINLING AREA,WESTERN PART OF HENAN PROVINCE, CHINA

Xiaoqinling gold metallogenetic zone,distributed in the southern marginal area of N. China platform, is a famous gold productive area.Based upon the investigation on the gold abundance in Taihua Group, the distribution of gold in minerals the behaviour of gold during metamorphism, migma-tization and granitization, gold ore and the geology and isotipic geochemistry of the deposits the subjects of .he source of ore-forming material, the geochemical background of gold in its"source bed"and their relationship to mineralization have been discussed :.n detail.It is shown that the necessary condition for gold mineral ization is not the high content of gold in source bed, but its capablity of mobil zation in geological processes and favorite structures for its deposition) just like the multiple periods of mineralizations of Sn, W, 晻? etc related to the granites of transformation type in sorthern part of China there had been also multi-period of gold enrichment caused by polycyclic migmatization and granitization. The gold deposits in N. China platform are predominently developed near the deep faults of longtime existance and of multi-period activities in which the Yenshanian migmatization and granitization played the most important role.
