THE MINERALIZATION MODEL FOR GOLD DEPOSITS IN THE WESTERN ZHUENGEER AREA

Based on the tectonic model for the collision type erogenic belts, the characteristics and the spatiotemporal evolution of diagenesis and mineralization in collision orogeny are discussed by theoretical study.The diagenesis and mineralization model for collision orogeny is proposed.According to the model,hydrothermal,deposits (D) zone,granite (G) zone and porphyry(P)zone distribute in turn,as increasing of distance from the collision suture,in the overlapping crustal unit.Data from geology,metallurgy and geophysics show that the western Zhuengeer area is a typical collision type erogenic belt which developed from Hercynian movement up to now.The Dalabute fault is a collision suture.Its northern and southern sides are the overlapping and the suoducting crustal units respectively.Geological characteristics and spatial distribution of the Gold deposits of the western area indicate that the gold deposits were mainly formedjin'the collision orogeny. Further research in geology and prospecting for the gold deposits can be directed by refering to the diagenesis and mineralization model for collision orogeny. D zone, ever emphasized as the area north to the Dalabute fault by Zhang et al (1986),should be the key place to prospect gold deposits.In D zone,the quartz vein type of gold deposits is a key types and the metasomatite type is another key type as well.The porphyry and the breccia types of gold deposits are two key types in the P zone which is northwest to the G zone composed of Miaoergou mass and the other granite plutons.
