THE APPLICATION OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT METHOD WITH POINT SOURCE TO THE WENNER TRIPO TENTIAL ARRAYS FORWARD MODELLING

This paper uses the principle of two-dimensional finite element method with point source to carry out a forward computer program for the calculation of apparent resistivity of Wenner tripotential arrays and their ratios. The program have a characteristics the anomalous charateristics apparent resistivity of Wenner tripotential arrays, set up certain theoretical foundation for theinterpretations of complex geoelectric structures.These research results shows the application effect of Wenner tripotential method to different geoelectric structures.
