ON THE MECHANISM OF MINERALIZATION IN ARCHAEAN GOLD-BEARING SHEAR ZONE
Liu Jinghong(Jilin Institute of Geological Sciences)
The gold-bearing shear zone is a great dynamic system which is develo- ped for a long time. The process of mineralization is controlled comprehensively by dynamics, thermodynamics, time and space. The gold-bearing shear zone was developed duriag or after the peak of major metamophism developed during or after the pfeak of major metamophism and deformation, the gold bearing quartz vein was accurred in late stage of evolution of shear zone. The shear zone played an important role in the gold deposits forming process.Gold bearing greenstone, metamorphism, deformation and associated magma activity are neccessary to gold mineralization. Shear zone, alkaline metasomatism and acid metasomatism are also sufficient and necessary to the gold mineralization.
