THE INVESTIGATION DEPTH OF TRANSIENT ELECTROMAGNETIC SOUNDING METHOD

Yin Changchun(Department of Applied Geophysics)  
The depth of investigation of TEM sounding method has been discussed in this paper. The auther found that the depth of investigation of TEM sounding not only related with the sampling time, but also related with the signal strength,the conductivity of the earth,the noise level and precision of measuring system. The relationship between these aspects and the investigation depth was carried out mathematically.
