RESEARCH AND CORRECTION OF NON-DIPOLE INFLUENCE OF TRANSMITTER AB AND RECEIVER IN NEAR-ZONE TDEM

Li Jisong Piao Huarong(Department of Applied Geophysics)  
In near-zone TDEM field work , T-R distances arc so short that transmitter AB and receiver can no longer be taken as dipolc . By deriving on condition of difi-nitc AB and loop size ,thc authors calculate the non-dipolc influences of AB and loop size. The character of the influences arc just coincided with that of T-R distances . Using this coincidence, a correcting method of non-dipolc influence is obtained and the correction coefficients is also presented
