USING THE BOND MATRIX METHOD TO DEDUCE THE ELASTIC COEFFICIENT IN ANISOTROPY MEDIA

The elastic wave anisotropy medium is a practical model that describes the earth’s interior. TI and EDA media are the two common anisotropic models used by geophysicists. The number of the elastic coefficients is the key to study the seismic wave propagation. By using the Bond matrix method, based on the assumption of an infinite order symmetric axis, we can easily decluce the elastic coefficient matrix in the two media.
