DIFFERENTIATION OF FLUVIAL SEDIMENT SYSTEM OF THE QUANTOU FORMATION AND ITS DEPOSITIONAL CONDITION IN THE HELONG AREA OF SONGLIAO BASIN

Based on timefrequency analysis, the well log was analysed depositionally in order to rationaly distinguish objects at the Qclustering analysis.Using timefrequency analysisCustering analysis, the sedimentary facies types of the upper part of the Quantou Formation in the Helong area of Songliao Basin were disfinguished.The result shows that member 3 Rbottom of Member 4 of the Quantou Formation is braided river depositional system and Member 4 of the Quantou Formation(besides its bottom) is meandering river deposition system,and that tectonic subsidence,rainfall,sloping,palaeovegetation and calcify beds are important factors to contral the existence and evolution of braided or meandering river.
