DIFFERENTIATION OF FLUVIAL SEDIMENT SYSTEM OF THE QUANTOU FORMATION AND ITS DEPOSITIONAL CONDITION IN THE HELONG AREA OF SONGLIAO BASIN

Based on timefrequency analysis, the well log was analysed depositionally in order to rationaly distinguish objects at the Qclustering analysis.Using timefrequency analysisCustering analysis, the sedimentary facies types of the upper part of the Quantou Formation in the Helong area of Songliao Basin were disfinguished.The result shows that member 3 Rbottom of Member 4 of the Quantou Formation is braided river depositional system and Member 4 of the Quantou Formation(besides its bottom) is meandering river deposition system,and that tectonic subsidence,rainfall,sloping,palaeovegetation and calcify beds are important factors to contral the existence and evolution of braided or meandering river.
