Analysis on Neozoic paleo-geotemperature of Changwei depression

The Changwei depression is an important outside exploration area of Shengli oilfield. It is very important to decide its paleotemperature for the study of hydrocarbon generation history and entrapment history. This article uses both method of s of vitrinite-reflectance and apatite-fission-track to inverse its Neozoic paleogeothermal gradient evolution rules. It is concluded that its paleogeothermal gradient has decreased gradually with the geological evolution. And it is also showed that it is an effective way to study the thermal history of eastern simple basins by using the methods of vitrinite-reflectance and apatite-fission-track.
