Research on a new type of drilling bit in the slipping formation

Slipping formation is often met in drilling construction. Many domestic and overseas experts have designed different types of diamond bits to solve the drilling difficult problems in slipping formation. But all these bits have some different limitations. Diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite button bit assures the excellent self-sharpening and big ratio pressure characteristics of cutting tools and improves the adaptabilities of bit for drilling in slipping formation. The micro-drilling test shows that diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite button bit has high drilling efficiency in slipping formation.
