A Study of Ironscurf and Ash Micro-Electrolysis Used in Pretreating Dye-Stuff Waste Water

TAN Ming, ZOU Dong-lei, ZHAO Xiao-bo (College of Environment and Resources, Jilin University, Changchun 130026, China)  
The reaction mechanism of the ironscurf and ash micro-electrolysis used in pretreating dye-stuff waste water was discussed, and the operational parameters and effect factors were made by experients, such as the pH of the dye-stuff waste water was almost about 2.5~3.5; the pH of the sediment was to 8~8.5; the time of the reaction was about 1 hour; the proportion of the ash and ironscur was to 2.0~3.0. The removal rate of COD and colour in dye-stuff waste water were over 80% and about 92%, respectively.
