The Characteristics of Eco-geological Environment ofIodine Deficiency Disease in Guizhou

A study on geological and geochemical characteristics of rock , soil, water and main edible plants in ecosystem, It is shown that Iodine Deficiency Disease was an epidemic disease of deficiency of iodine in geological environment, and then deficiency of iodine in ecosystem , causes of human body deficiency of iodine. There is a relation between IDD distribution and the contents of iodine. The Iodine Deficiency area area spread mainly from geological environment in Carbonate , Clastic rock and low-grade metamorphic rock , and the non-disease area is mainly in the coal stratum.The divided districts of eco-geological environment reveals the relation between of IDD and ecosystem.
