Electrical Structures of the Upper Lithosphere Near Jiamusi Massif—Xingkai Massif

WANG Qian WANG Shi-yu HU Yan-fei College of GeoExploration Science and Technology,Jilin University,Changchun 130026,China
The characters of the lithosphere structure is studied by using the data of the MT in the transition zone between Jiamusi massif and Xingkai massif. The electrical characteristics of the transition zone(belongs to Wandashan terrain)were analyzed from the 2D inversion results. The electrical parameters of the upper crust changes large relative transversely, the low resistivity zone of the middle and lower crust can extend to the lithospheric mantle near the Xingkai massif,if it extends much deeper to the lithospheric mantle near the Xingkai massif yet not to be identified. There are certain differences from high resistivity characteristics between the two old massifs, namely the resistitvity value in the Jiamusi massif was significantly higher than that in the Xingkai massif. The paper advances an unmature understanding from the electrical structure,i.e.the sourthern part in Wandashan terrain was treated as the transitional zone between the two ancient massif,in which may be occured the vertical convection(upwelling)in the ridge of the ancient ocean, and happened subduction process of the lithospheric plate to the two ancient massifs.
