Application of Random Inversion Technique in Thin Layer Reservoir Characterization

The Putaohua oil layer in the east Daqing is very thin,constrained inversion processing cannot effectively identify the reservoir because of resolution limitation.The 231 block in Songfangtun oil field with large difference of well density was studied.Geological statistics simulation has been introduced into reservoir based on spatial correlations of known data and sequential Gauss modeling. The horizontal resolution of seismic data volume was used to constrict spatial distribution.The 3—D random inversion has been used to improve the resolution of reservoir characterization.
