Geological and Geochemical Features of East Dyke and Its Ore-Controlling in Dachang Sn-Polymetallic Orefield,Guangxi

The formation of the Dachang Sn-polymetallic deposit is thought to be closely related to granite in the area.One granite porphyries dyke,called the East Dyke,is located in the east side of the Tongkeng Sn and Changpo Sn deposits in the western ore belt.Field research and petrologic analysis shows that the East Dyke is not a simple granite porphyries dyke,but a multistage techtono-magmatic belt composing of nearly NS-trending fracture zone,granite porphyries dyke,diorite porphyrite dyke and basalt dyke.Petrological chemistry indicates that the rocks of the East Dyke belong to calc-alkaline-alkaline magmatic series and were formed in an island arc and/or the continental margin environments.The East Dyke is a conductive structure for rocks and ores in the area,serving as a controlling geological boundary through the Dachang orefield and controlling the distribution of the deposits.Apparent differences in mineralization degree and type are seen at the two sides of the East Dyke.
