A DYNAMIC COLUMN STUDY OF FLUORIDE ADSORPTION AND DESORPTION IN SOIL

A Study of Characteristics and kinetics of adsorption and desorption of fluoride in soil has been made. The results show that the characteristics of fluoride adsorption and desorption could be described by Langmiur mode and Frendlich mode respectively,and the kinetics of fluoride adsorntion and desorption could be described by Elovich equation.Both of the adsorption and desorption processes of fluoride are irreversible processes which are controlled by the reaction rate.
