ABNORMAL GROUNDWATER CHEMISTRY IN GE'ERMU ALLUVIUM AQUIFER AND ITS ORIGIN

Wang Dongsheng;Ren Fuhong (China Univ.of Geosciences,Beijing 100083)(Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology)
The ground water has an abnormal chemical characteristics. Water-rock interaction experiment and field study indicated that the chemical components of water are mainly from the dossolution of unconsolidated deposits in Kunlun mountain which contains high content of salinity and the deposits do not come from the weathering products of rocks. Based on the analysis of regional geochemistry. the authors suggest that the chemical components are brought by wind from the sedimentary and salt lake in chaidamu basin.
