PETROLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND DATING ON GNEISS XENOLITHS IN MESOZOIC BASALTS IN HUZIYAN,DAOXIAN REGION,HUNAN PROVINCE

Guo Feng Fan Weiming Lin Ge Wu Youlin (Changsha Institute of Geotectonics, Academia, Sinica, Changsha 410013)  
Metamorphic change and facies, types of protolith on gneiss xenoliths in Mesozoic basalts in Huziyan, Daoxian region have been determined based on data from petrochemistry, Nd model age and U Pb dating of zircons. In addition, the authors have also reconstructed the formation and evolution of the studied region during pre-Cambrian.
